A simple design for a pulling door handle. Hand measurements and ergonomics were taken into consideration when designing the handle to allow a comfortable, natural grip. The handle acts as a pocket which ones hand sinks into upon grasping, its as if the handle emerges from the planar surface of the door. The handle is not attached to a door but is intended to be slotted into one. It is made of milled foam, coated with plaster and gesso. As a proof of concept the design can be furthered and be milled out of hard wood and produced as a unique feature piece for a beautiful front entry.
